A Christmas Of Secrets This was going to be a real challenge to Christmas because her parents didn't know that I lived with her. Tori had fabricated an elaborate story surrounding her life. She was supposedly engaged to a man who was in the mafia. A House Is Not A Home Without God As my eyes scanned the scene once more, an unexpected emptiness invaded my senses. Depression Made Me Its Slave A woman sits before her computer and tabulates a pile of bills that are waiting to be paid. She looks at her bank account and then once again at the bills and realizes that no matter what she paid, she wouldn't have enough. The rain once again began coming down in sheets of penetrating force meant to power its way through our temporary barrier. I Feel Like a Failure Because My Child is Bad He became ungrateful and full of pride towards his parents.He began to have sex with his girlfriend and stay out all night. He became violent and verbally abusive to his parents. He began to drink and he got into fights. I Know Who Started The Fire The flames from the forest fire twirled creating a funnel that took the form of a fiery tornado that lashed out furiously hurdling huge balls of fire that ignited grasses, trees and every house that was in the mist of the fire. The intensity of the heat boiled the water right out of the luxury pools of the rich and the tiny streams that ran along the path of the forest fire. I Love You Like The Moon It was 2:00 am, but the light from the moon cast a glow that illuminated the darkness and allowed me to see into the night. I looked up into the sky and a voice within my being proclaimed, "I love you like the moon." I Made My New Years Resolutions This year it was going to be different! A new house, a promise of a promotion at my job and of course an exercise program to shed the extra pounds. Everything was in place. I was shocked over her request wondering just how serious she was about knowing the complete picture of her future. I Want To Know My Future Part Two My grandson fully dressed in cap and gown proudly walked across the stage to receive his diploma. He was now officially graduated from pre-school. As he received his diploma he was asked one question, "What do you want to be when you grow up?" Without hesitation he clearly stated, "A prophet." I Want To Live A Good Life Free From Financial Worries Do you ever feel like the walls are closing in together ready to crush you? Are you in debt and over your head with interest rates ever increasing to the point you must either get a much better paying job or hire an attorney so you can go bankrupt? I Was Found Guilty In one quick swoop the judge raised his gavel and hit his desk sending echoes of sound through the once still courtroom. Many who had come to hear the verdict were shocked at how quickly the judge decided my case. His voice rang with authority as he quickly pronounced judgment. "You are found, Guilty!" I Won The Lottery Fame, fortune, the American Dream! It all happened in the blink of an eye. I had achieved what everyone only dreams of. I have everything I want. I could finally relax for I had attained my life purpose. Or did I? If God's Two Witnesses Came Would The Church Let Them Through The Doors? If God's two witnesses appeared would the churches let them tell people 'what God had to say'? Is the song "My Jesus" correct when it states that Jesus wouldn't be let through the doors of today's churches? It Just Isn't Fair That I'm Sick Family and friends gathered astonished that the flu had turned into a life threatening disease. Now it wasn't just a virus it was Congestive Heart Failure. Jesus Changed My Life If Jesus was suppose to be a warrior king, then why did He come as a peacemaker? Why did Jesus associate with the poor, prostitutes, tax collectors and those who were considered to be sinners? Why was Jesus crucified when all He did was good works during His lifetime? Jesus Christ, Superman Part Five It's a bird. . It's a plane. . No! It's Jesus Christ, Superman, Savior of the world! Peter was shaking and crying without even realizing what he was doing, he denied Jesus three times! He thought he would be able to stand up to the pain and the suffering he saw Jesus going through and Be A Man! Jesus Christ, Superman Part Four It's a bird. . It's a plane. . No! It's Jesus Christ, Superman, Savior of the world! "Roll the stone away, Lazarus come out!" Commanded Jesus. Immediately Lazarus walked out from his rocky crypt pulling the grave clothes away from His face while taking a deep gulp of fresh air. Jesus Christ, Superman Part Six It's a bird. . It's a plane. . No! It's Jesus Christ, Superman, Savior of the world! At noon the whole country was covered with darkness, which lasted for three hours. Jesus Christ, Superman Part Three It's a bird. . It's a plane. . No! It's Jesus Christ, Superman, Savior of the world! An audience of beautiful shimmering angels stood before the magnificent throne of God. The power that emanated from the Lord God Almighty could be felt spreading a warm sensation of adoring love reverberating into the hearts of all those who stood before His presence. Jesus Christ, Superman Part Two Jesus Christ Superman was the Savior of the World. Following Him would take every ounce of strength. But when they placed their faith in Jesus they had the power to overcome the greatest world game of them all! Jesus Is The Light As a small child I was given a burgundy book of Bible stories by my grandmother. At the time I couldn't read, but the pictures set my imagination into action and confronted me with questions.
