A Christmas Of Secrets This was going to be a real challenge to Christmas because her parents didn't know that I lived with her. Tori had fabricated an elaborate story surrounding her life. She was supposedly engaged to a man who was in the mafia. A House Is Not A Home Without God As my eyes scanned the scene once more, an unexpected emptiness invaded my senses. A feeling that something important was missing from the house. Once again I looked inside the mansion and in a small enclosure next to the entrance to the living room, stood an idol representing the god of wealth and prosperity. A Valentine Lost And Then Found Tears filled my eyes as the words poured forth in perfect harmony, thoughts of love. It seemed like a dream, yet the feelings surrounded my being and penetrated my thoughts. So many years had past and yet each word brought memories so clear of the love I felt for my soul mate. Can a Second Marriage Survive, When There Are Children Without any hesitation my son threw an entire glass of soda on my new wife while we were waiting for food in a restaurant. In a flash, what was going to be a fun time with dinner and a movie, turned into whom did I love more, my eleven year old son or my new wife. Clouds Of Darkness The sky filled with smoke blackening the horizon and darkening all the light of day, stopping all people from seeing the reality of their existence. It was like a computer virus, once let loose, it was given the power to infect all programs in the computers hard drive. Clouds Of Deception It was as if the night had a plan to go on the hunt for those who were carefree and secure in their worldly life. Unsuspecting people who thought they were safe and secure in the lives they created for themselves. People who lived for pleasure and did what was necessary to get what they wanted no matter who it might hurt. Demons, Spirits, And Evil Thoughts Where does evil come from? How are we influenced by evil spirits? Are evil thoughts brought on by my own desires? Destined To Believe I proclaim that everything that I have suffered in this life can not compare with the knowledge I have gained. I know I came to this world to do battle for God. I know that my life purpose was always to proclaim the Love of God. Fight For Love Cupid raised his arrow, aimed and love hit the hearts of two people. A love so exciting that it exploded into possibilities. A family, a home and a life that can be shared. Anything is possible when two people are in love. God Made Me Love Scriptures filled the paper. Words I did not type. Ideas I had never understood before. It was as if the clouds parted and the light of the sun shone through. A bright light of wisdom. Grace Set Me Free To Make Mistakes I threw my hands into the air making exploding noises as my super hero grandchildren giggled in anticipation of their next attack. They were on a crusade to stop the evil grandma villain from destroying the world. Haunted Typewriter Or God? To my astonishment my typewriter began to move. Is this possible? I looked intently for some mechanical device that could cause such an impossible action. He Speaks In A Whisper He speaks to us in a whisper. Acknowledging the game of life helps us to understand how to win. Knowing the Spiritual dimension of our world is to have knowledge, while living in this world like everyone else is to be simple minded. How Does Satan Destroy Your Life Quickly we ran stacking sand bag after sand bag around our house hoping and praying that we would detour the approaching flood! The rain once again began coming down in sheets of penetrating force meant to power its way through our temporary barrier. I smiled as the sand wall held, keeping the inside of our house dry, only to find out an instant later that our sump pump failed in the basement. I Am A Future Resident Of Heaven A young Christian woman lay on an examination table, she was just diagnosed with a terminal illness, and she was determined to not be afraid of dying. She closed her eyes and imagined what it would be like to meet God face to face. I Am Not Jewish God made all people. Yet today we persecute people in order to justify the doctrine handed down by the church fathers. Why is this happening? I Am So Afraid Have you ever felt fear because you knew that the problem you were facing took away all of your control? A fear that drove you to your knees begging God to protect you from the dread of pain. A fear that consumed your every wakening thought and made you so afraid that you couldn't eat. I Believe In Miracles I looked down just for a moment and when I looked up there was a deer in my head lights right in front of my face. Yet I didn't hit the deer. This is the reason why I believe in miracles. Miracles, prayer and faith help us to see God working in our lives. Without God we cannot win! Count your miracles and Praise The Lord! I Know Who Started The Fire The flames from the forest fire twirled creating a funnel that took the form of a fiery tornado that lashed out furiously hurdling huge balls of fire that ignited grasses, trees and every house that was in the mist of the fire. The intensity of the heat boiled the water right out of the luxury pools of the rich and the tiny streams that ran along the path of the forest fire. I Love You Like The Moon It was 2:00 am, but the light from the moon cast a glow that illuminated the darkness and allowed me to see into the night. I looked up into the sky and a voice within my being proclaimed, "I love you like the moon." I Made My New Years Resolutions This year it was going to be different! A new house, a promise of a promotion at my job and of course an exercise program to shed the extra pounds. Everything was in place. I was energized and full of anticipation of making it the best year ever. I Want To Know My Future She shouted with absolute conviction each word, "I want to know how my life is going to turn out before it happens! Didn't Christ know that He was destined to be crucified on the cross? Didn't He know everything about His life before it happened." I was shocked over her request wondering just how serious she was about knowing the complete picture of her future. I Want To Know My Future Part Two My grandson fully dressed in cap and gown proudly walked across the stage to receive his diploma. He was now officially graduated from pre-school. As he received his diploma he was asked one question, "What do you want to be when you grow up?" Without hesitation he clearly stated, "A prophet." I Won The Lottery Fame, fortune, the American Dream! It all happened in the blink of an eye. I had achieved what everyone only dreams of. I have everything I want. I could finally relax for I had attained my life purpose. Or did I? If God's Two Witnesses Came Would The Church Let Them Through The Doors? If God's two witnesses appeared would the churches let them tell people 'what God had to say'? Is the song "My Jesus" correct when it states that Jesus wouldn't be let through the doors of today's churches? Jesus Changed My Life If Jesus was suppose to be a warrior king, then why did He come as a peacemaker? Why did Jesus associate with the poor, prostitutes, tax collectors and those who were considered to be sinners? Why was Jesus crucified when all He did was good works during His lifetime? Jesus Christ, Superman Part Five It's a bird. . It's a plane. . No! It's Jesus Christ, Superman, Savior of the world! Peter was shaking and crying without even realizing what he was doing, he denied Jesus three times! He thought he would be able to stand up to the pain and the suffering he saw Jesus going through and Be A Man! Jesus Christ, Superman Part Four It's a bird. . It's a plane. . No! It's Jesus Christ, Superman, Savior of the world! "Roll the stone away, Lazarus come out!" Commanded Jesus. Immediately Lazarus walked out from his rocky crypt pulling the grave clothes away from His face while taking a deep gulp of fresh air. Jesus Christ, Superman Part Six It's a bird. . It's a plane. . No! It's Jesus Christ, Superman, Savior of the world! At noon the whole country was covered with darkness, which lasted for three hours. Jesus Christ, Superman Part Three It's a bird. . It's a plane. . No! It's Jesus Christ, Superman, Savior of the world! An audience of beautiful shimmering angels stood before the magnificent throne of God. The power that emanated from the Lord God Almighty could be felt spreading a warm sensation of adoring love reverberating into the hearts of all those who stood before His presence. Jesus Christ, Superman Part Two Jesus Christ Superman was the Savior of the World. Following Him would take every ounce of strength. But when they placed their faith in Jesus they had the power to overcome the greatest world game of them all! Jesus Is The Light As a small child I was given a burgundy book of Bible stories by my grandmother. At the time I couldn't read, but the pictures set my imagination into action and confronted me with questions. Judge Not Least You Be Judged Recently a minister and his congregation have been picketing the funerals of fallen soldiers from Iraq. Are they doing God's will by telling the families of these war hero's that their sacrifice is a result of judgment by God for allowing homosexuals into the armed forces? Or is this minister and his followers an instrument of Satan? Keeping The Faith Confused and alone five year old Christy watched as her mother was jailed, injured, made homeless, and abandoned by family and friends. Christy grew up wondering how people justified telling her to hate her mother while teaching her that God is love. Limited In Time and Space Do you ever wonder what it would be like to jump off a cliff and fly like a bird? Wouldn't it be fun to breath under water and explore the ocean. No, I'm not talking about airplanes or submarines, I mean exploring the world with this kind of freedom in the our human bodies of flesh and blood. Listen, God Is Speaking Some of the messages fell on those who thought they were meaningless and they ignored them. Others fell on believers who vowed to follow them, but when the trials of life occurred they quickly forgot. But there were a few messages that fell on ordinary people who took them to heart and shared them with those who would listen. I am one of those ordinary people. Love Is The Key To The World Believing in what is unseen is gaining understanding about the purpose of this world. From the Miracle of life to the wonders of our world stand up and see that it could have never just been created in a big bang! Sacrifices We Make For Love When I am in control my pride is intact, but when God is control I can see our world for what it is! Open your eyes to how God can change you into more loving, kind and compassionate people. Satan's Got Your Number Let's have fun, let's get drunk at a party! After a few drinks you are completely gone and so your so called 'friends' dare you to get a permanent tattoo that is perverted, X rated, and demeaning to women. You are the center of everyone's attention and it feel's great until you wake up in the morning sober and realize what you did! Should Christian People Mourn the Death of A Man Who Promoted Hate Newsmen hovered and ran to cover the newest breaking story. They were eager to proclaim the death of a powerful man of the Religious Right who had passed away from a massive heart attack. Slay The Dragon Christian soldiers, you have a mission! Be brave and true to your call to defend Jesus Christ your Savior from the evils of this world. Remember our fight is not against flesh and blood, it is against the wicked spiritual forces of evil. Evil, which wants to defeat love and all those who are good. Sound The Battle Cry A message of love and peace on earth rang through the forest. Ending with thoughtful words of warning pleading to all who would listen and to all who can hear the voice of God. The Battle Over Love The Chess game took on a form of war that led to a truth. A truth that was disguised so that the evil found in the hearts of men would be revealed. Good men recognize love and do what is right, but if you are not careful a good man can be used as an instrument of hate. The Clouds Parted And I Began To See This was not the first time that I had been caught in a storm of fury. It seemed that every so often a test would emerge opening my eyes to a truth that I had never understood before. The Creator Of The Heavenly Lights A sparkling white dove floated down leaving a trail of sunbeams in it's flight. It's wings were spread out and it's eyes showed a determination to bring a urgent message of love from Jesus Christ. The Evil Dragon Satan A gigantic dragon loomed within the clouds of the darkened sky. It's breath exhaled sparking burning rays of fire into the ominous night. The sky grew fierce and lightning bolts of flame reached out and touched one man and then another, until millions of people were connected helplessly to the terrifying sight of imminent destruction. The Holy Spirit Is Crucial - Part One Stormy clouds of darkness parted as a pure white dove descended from a vibrant ray of light with a small olive branch clasped in it's beak. One person and then another accepted the Holy Spirits message, but most shook their heads unable to believe in anything more than what they could humanly see. The Prognoses Was Serious, I Was Going To Die Why was this happening to me? I always did what was right. Why would God allow such a terrible disease to consume my body? When we commit our ways to following God, isn't He suppose to protect us? The Time Is Now A luminous world appeared in perfect splendor. It was all a flutter with beautiful angels darting back and forth excitedly proclaiming the Greatness of God. Suddenly a Being more beautiful than all of the rest stood before the exuberate crowd dressed in clothes that shone like lightning. The Wonders Of The Lord Look at the ocean in all of its glory! On any given day the colors of the blue changes. Its white foam swirls and churns producing glorious ripples and peaceful glimpses of imagined mystical creatures under its clear blue crystal waters.
