Why are women more prone to knee injuries then men and how can women prevent these knee injuries from occurring? My article is about why women are more prone to knee injuries then men. I have been playing soccer now for the past six years and have encountered many knee injuries with in my circle of teammates. Just this year, three of the girls on my high school soccer team tore ligaments in their knees and were out for the entire season so I always wonder why is it that as women, we are more prone to these specific types of injuries. My article will include actual interviews from the girls on my team that suffered knee injuries and interviews with actual doctors who specialize in knee injuries. Keywords:
