Zimmer Lawsuits Could Result in a Multi District Litigation
A status conference associated with several Zimmer knee recall lawsuits was slated for July 6, 2011 and presided over by the Judge Joan K. Leflow. Illinois resident Fred Stone filed this lawsuit. It is expected that Fred Stone's attorney may ask several similar suits be combined into multi district litigation. The status conference would be held in Illinois among Zimmer knee lawyers, the Zimmer holdings, the manufacturer's attorneys and Judge Leflow. The judge is expected to determine the exact status of the proceedings, trial date, court venue and tentative length of trial proceedings.
