Aging is a part of life and welcomed by many as a wonderful sign of wisdom and experience. The media however has made the beauty industries millions by implanting this bizarre fear of growing older. Somehow aging became an "unattractive" thing in Hollywood so women are flooding into drug stores buying the latest anti-aging creams believing that they can turn back hands of time.
The most important fact about aging is that women are not considered any less attractive by wrinkles. There are many things in life that gain credibility only and when they age. Cognacs for example are not cognac unless they've aged 40 years or more. The older the cognac the more expensive it is. 250 year cognacs are as expensive as $300 for a 2oz. pour. Others are $15,000 a bottle. So if a cognac is able to be grow value over the years, how much more than can a woman become priceless just by aging? Aging should not be feared or looked down upon. It's the pre-mature aging we should be more conscious about.
The skin is the largest organ on the body and a lot of time the most neglected and maltreated. It's violated by chemical products advertised to get them softer and wrinkle free. The truth is that anything that has water as its main ingredient probably won't moisturize much. When your skin is dry it is very likely to develop pre-mature aging. A 20 year old with wrinkles is abnormal. Lotions will only bring temporary relief and once it evaporates or the water is absorbed into the bloodstream you skin will get dry once again.
Oils are the key. Virgin coconut oil is loaded with anti-oxidants and not only softens the skin but it also protects against the sun. It will be sure to give you a more youthful appearance but healing and moisturizing your skin naturally. Coconut oil gets rid of any dead layers of skin and it penetrates to the deeper layer and makes them stronger. It will give you an overall glow and shiny appearance. You can also apply coconut oil to your hair instead of all those harmful hair products that over treats your hair causing breakage and split ends. Did I mention you can also cook with it? It can prevent crow's feet and wrinkles on your face along with making delicious popcorn. Who said having healthier skin had to be expensive?
