After sensational political protests, which were provoked by the falsification of the voices during Russia's Duma election, according to results of which United Russia has won, Russians wait the 4th of the March with great anxiety. This day Russia's President elections will take place. Following the slogans that were chanted repeatedly on Bolotnaya square, the web blogs are full of comments of such content: "Putin, go away!", "Russia without Putin" and many others are rather more against the Putin's candidacy as "the again President of Russia" than for it. The system, that appeared during Putin's presidency is mostly based on corruption and consumption, such regime is something that nobody would ever be a fan of, but there is also another system that goes far away deeply in the past, to the very beginning of post-Soviet period, when Putin began to perform President's duties for the first time and started stabilization of the country that was in a very poor condition at that period.

Changes and perspectives.

Russia got out of post-perestroika period incredibly weak, after the disintegration of USSR a new government - Russian Federation had a strong need to be picked together from the very start, few people are aware of what "new Russia" has eluded.

The country needed hard politics and it got it in the person of Vladimir Putin. Most of Russians didn't want to admit that it was Putin and his crew who managed to save Russia in its borders. Many things were done to fulfill this difficult task and as many are planned to be done in economic and financial directions.

First of all, the companies which do the development of natural resources again got under the control of government which marked the beginning to the change of the country's poor condition. GAZPROM, now the first-rate Russian company, producing and distributing gas, turned into the peculiar engines of public economics. A broad modification, in which GAZPROM deposited more that 107 billion rubles in the period from 2001 to 2010, due to ten thousands kilometers of driven gas tracks, enabled to provide with gas ten thousands of population aggregates; this great improvement happened to show absolutely different quality of life, good life. Moreover, the GAZPROM's investment in social life makes it possible to build hundreds of health complexes in province, that not long ago people can't dream of.

Another Russian achievement of this period was that Sochi, city in Krasnodar krai, was chosen as the venue for Olympic and Paralympic Games in the year 2014. This great event means a lot for Russian Federation. Earlier in the beginning of post-perestroika period Sochi was a dull city with dark streets, dirty beaches and old sanatoriums of Soviet time, and now when all Olympic projects are put into operation, Sochi will become a supermodern health-resort of the world's standard.

Nowadays many Russian people are convinced that when some don't have money for living, there is no need for such colossal expenses, that it would be better to spend such sum of money for pay and pension raise. Such opinion is widespread, but that doesn't mean that it is right. Nobody thinks, that organizing the events of such international standard, for the first place, the government "deposited" in the future, into infrastructure, which then will make it possible for not only the local residents, but also, what is more important, for Russia in the whole to earn quite a lot. Moreover, Russian Federation takes all over again its place in the world, the one that was lost after USSSR's fall, when everyone believed that Russia would never rise again.

Situation with transport also improved a lot: the west and the Far East were linked by the car track, new tunnels and bridges were built. One should remember that a new road is always an incitement for the development of infrastructure that is "near" it. The express railways between first-rate cities of Russia are being planned to be developed.

The figures show the great improvements. For the last 11 years Russian RTS index has risen from 127 points to 2087 (nearly 1000%). Just for comparison, China RTS index improvement shows 100%, India - 260%, other European stock markets haven't undergone any special changes. Since 2000 to 2011 real income of Russians has increased more than twice, wages three times and pensions 3.5 times. In 2010 the birth-rate has increased by 40% in contrast to 2000. Natural population has fallen 4 times for the last ten years. All these figures show that the quality of life in Russia advanced a lot. On the whole, during these 10 years life in Russia has become more stable, more predictable, the amount of poor decreased and process is still going. That is only a small part of all changes and perspectives.

Who will be the next president?

All figures and events that were mentioned above took place when Mr Putin was on the President's and then prime-minister's posts. Now, in pre-election period, many people, especially those who were on Bolotnaja square, probably think more about the personality of the future Russian president, but not about what 'a new ruler' will do, or what he has already done(in case of Putin) for development of Russian Federation that was in so poor condition only 10 years ago. Still the interesting fact is that, while "Bolotniki" were thinking that their protests again Mr Putin would decrease his rate, an opposite thing has happened: for the first two weeks of the new year 2012 his rate rose from 48% to 52%. Vitaly Ivanov, vice-president Russian Centre of Political situation, believes that the mobilization of opposition has provoked the consolidation of Putin's supporters. "This fact is reproduced in the rate." said Mr Ivanov. According to him, Mironov's, Javlinsky's and Prohorov's (other candidates for the President's post) rates are none other than the political microbiology. "They've never had any rate, and as I think, never won't be. Unless they take from the fire little girls, their rate won't rise" Mr Ivanov has added.

Nevertheless, speaking about the elections on the whole, abstracting from all the protests, Media and other opinions, there is a clear picture: there are people that do not want any change, that already got used to Putin's regime, to the stability of the country, they know what to wait from the person who has all the chances to become the Russian President for the third time. There is an idea, a hope that Putin, which is in mind of many people is the most prepared, the most strategically thinking and the most experienced, taking in consideration the situation of people's resentment, will remove all evident disadvantages of the country and continue to improve the stability of it. And already now Mr Putin promises a lot in his articles, that were published once a week for the last two weeks.

In the article that was published in Russian newspaper 'Kommersant' on the 6th of February Putin pays attention to the solution of one of the main problems of Russia, that was mentioned in the beginning - corruption. He says that the real, systematic solutions will be made, which will allow reorganize public institutions with much more effect. There are plans of introducing new principles to personnel policy concerning the officials' selection system, their rotation and their remuneration. Mr Putin believes that the financial, material risks and the danger of loosing reputation would make corruption unprofitable. But still this is only plan, people can't be sure that such solutions will be made at all, so probably Russian population will choose someone absolutely new, who will be able to start a new era of stabilization and formation of all life's spheres of Russian Federation.
