What is so special about keurig special edition?

Well, keurig special edition special thing is its blue light, if you asked me at first look. Of course, this special edition includes a few features and functions that would solve the problems of users of the keurig b40, but generally it is the brewing function is still the same.

When people talks about the keurig special edition, they are referring to the keurig b60 series. Now, we all know that after the launch of keurig b100, which is very popular, the next most popular model would be the keurig b40.

People like it because it gives them a chance to enjoy keurig coffee at a very affordable pricing. It is retailing at less than $100, so compared to the b100, it is a savings of more than $100!

I guess as time goes by, there is a need to create more models so as to better cater to the different segments.

Now, the b60 is an upgrade from the b40 and as keurig never under delivers, it does have a few great features, but the question is whether these features would matters to you.

Personally, if there is a reason that I would take up the b60, it would be the attractive blue light that lit up the water tank. This together with the LCD panel and the chrome k cup jaw, gives the keurig coffee maker a very attractive out look.

But, of course, not everybody that buys coffee maker goes for the look and I believe that the reason for the launch of this model is to mitigate a problem that many keurig users brought out about the choice of brew serving sizes.

So, for this keurig special edition, they are offering three different brew size. I believe what people are looking for is the 9.25 ounce, where they can fill up their coffee travel mug and drink gourmet coffee while commuting to work.

Other than that, some folks might like to tingle with the brew temperature to make it hotter to have a piping hot coffee. Well, this is also a feature that is available in this keurig b60.

These few features are the major upgrades of the b60, otherwise, everything remains the same. Even if you would to get a b50 or b40, the keurig coffee maker would still make you a great cup of coffee easily, it is still easy to maintain and clean. And of course, you would still be using the 50 odd varieties of beverages that keurig has.

So, in my opinion, keurig special edition is meant for those that are really looking for those features. Otherwise, the normal folks would do fine using the other models, well the keurig b40 is at least 30% cheaper, so that would usually be my choice...
