Some of those are pure sharing services and the only thing they do is allow you to share photos like Flickr for example. Using a digital photo sharing service is easy. Most of them include an easy to use interface that lets you choose multiple digital photos to upload. Once the photos are uploaded you can arrange them in photo albums add a caption describing each of them rotate and do some other basic processing and with services like Snapfish also order prints at many different paper sizes.

Once your digital photos are uploaded you can share them by sending a special link to your friends and family. You can also define security features to each photo album allowing only certain people to watch them or if you like opening them up to the public. With services like Snapfish you can also allow the people you share the digital photos with to order prints of the digital photos they like.
