In Circular Quay, you can find lots of ferries. Take the ferry and (about 30 minutes) go to Manly beach, a favourite getaways for people who live in Sydney. Go there and see the beach yourself! If you don't like to get into water, relax yourself by sitting in the cafe near the beach drinking coffee, chocolate and eating a slice of cake, whilst enjoy the water's view. Not only you can see Sydney beach, but also enjoy the ferry ride too.

Royal Botanic Garden

This Botanic Garden is a park just a few minutes travelling by bus from Sydney Opera house. It is a big garden and sometimes you can also get lost in there. Just remember where you came in from. It is worth to visit and furthermore, it is free!

Walk into the garden, enjoy the view of wonderful plants, trees, birds and catch the view of the famous Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera house. Add little picnic if you like under the shaded tree. However visiting Botanical Garden is not suggested during winter, because it can get very cold and windy.

St Mary Cathedral

Stop over at St Mary Cathedral to see the interior. It is quite an amazing cathedral!

The Rocks

If you go to The Rocks on Friday, there is fabulous market with a lot of hand crafted, unique, and wonderful stuffs and delicious food sold. At The Rocks, you can also find historical building and pubs. If you feel hungry for big meal, a lot of good restaurant can also be found in the rocks.

Lunch or dinner at Sydney Tower

To get a hold of the view of the whole Sydney city, you ought to visit Sydney Tower. Have a dinner or lunch there on the observation deck, on the top of the building, with slowly revolving floor. It is such an intriguing view.

Darling Harbour
Because of the limited time, catch monorail for an overview of Sydney famous Darling Harbour. It might be a bit costly for monorail, but given the limited amount of time, you might have to consider it. It is certainly quite an experience not to be missed.
