Stay At Home Dad Works in PJs
Article Summary: In this article Ellery Bennett tells us the benefits of our own business. If you are on a good career path and making good money it isn’t enough any more to maintain your lifestyle. He says that there is no need of any dress code or a particular time period spend in the office we can operate our business while staying at home with our family.
Do you hate wearing a tie? Do you have one of those jobs where everyone wears a white shirt and black pants to important meetings? Don’t you hate having to conform like that because if you don’t you want convey the right image, you can’t get promoted? As a stay at home dad (for more details please visit at www.newstayathomedad.com) I no longer have to care about matching my tie to my shirt.
Of course there are times when I want to dress up, but now it’s my choice. If I want to wear jeans to work, I can. Running a business out of your home gives you a lot of freedom. You can get up early and hit the computer in your PJs if you want to. Spend a few hours drinking coffee, getting the work done, making business calls and then go take a shower at lunch time, hit the gym in the afternoon, and when your children come home at three or four in the afternoon you can be ready and waiting. Then later, if you need to finish something up and check email, you can get back to it anytime. Your computer is right where you left it, ready and waiting. Stay at home dad’s set their own schedule, make their own choices and juggle their priorities in any way they see fit.
There are several advantages you can think up right off the bat when you work from home, that transcend even the tie wearing. Apart from the obvious advantages of being a stay at home dad and spending quality time with your kids, there are several more:
You save on gas money, your tires will last longer and you won’t need so many oil changes.
You save on money on business clothes (suits are pricey, not to mention uncomfortable!)
No more business lunches that make you gain weight
Time to work out<
Time to spend with kids
No more watching the promotion go to someone else
You don’t have to settle for a 2% pay raise while inflation is growing at over 5%
That might be the best reason of all why you absolutely have to take steps to increase your income – the fact that inflation right now is reaching runaway proportions and even if you are on a good career path and making good money, it isn’t enough any more to maintain your lifestyle.
A year from now if you are still making the same money and the price of food and goods has hit an all time high, you are going to be worse off this time next year than you are right now. If you take steps today to do something about that you could easily be looking at an increase in lifestyle rather than a decrease. And what a great message to send your kids. When they see you start a new career and become successful as a stay at home dad, they will know that’s something they can look forward to in their own life. You will be giving them a tool to put in their life skills toolbox.
