Nebivolol is devoid of intrinsic sympathomimetic or membrane stabilising activity but appears to have nitric oxide-mediated vasodilatory effects.
Nebivolol can be used to treat high blood pressure. Nebivolol is indicated as a medicine for Essential Hypertension.
How to Take Nebivolol
Nebivolol is available in tablet form. Nebivolol must only be administered by a qualified healthcare provider. Try to take nebivolol at the same times each day to avoid missing any doses.
What are the Side Effects of Nebivolol -
Like all medicines, Nebivolol can cause some side-effects. Some common side effects reported with this medicine include the following. Call your doctor right away if you notice any of these side effects:
* Headache
* Fatigue
* dizziness
* Paraesthesiasis
* Tiredness,
* coldness of the extremities (fingers, toes and nose),

* Nebivolol medicine may reduce your ability to drive or operate machinery safely. Do not drive or operate machinery until you know how Nebivolol affects you and you are sure it won't affect your performance.
* Do not stop using this Nebivolol medicine suddenly without asking your doctor, or you may develop life-threatening heart problems. You may need to slowly decrease your dose before stopping it completely.
* This medicine (Nebivolol) should not be used during pregnancy.
