Article Summary: Learning the basics for any casino game is the best foundation before learning a game in depth. Here is a list of some of the more commonly seen casino games.

Blackjack:
Blackjack is a popular card game. The object of the game is to put together a hand that totals 21 or close to 21 without going over. Each player is playing only against the dealer. If the dealer "busts" or goes over 21 then each players at the table wins. Each player at the table is dealt 2 cards and given the chance to take more cards if necessary.

Roulette:
Roulette is played on a numbered grid and a wheel with corresponding numbers to the grid. Players bet on what number the wheel will bet on. Multiple layers can bet on the same number to win. Each player at a roulette table will be given different colored chips to make sure no one gets confused as to which chips are there's on the board. Each number is colored in either red or black and players also have the option to bet on what color the winning number will be and if it will be an odd or an even number. Picking a winner pays out much higher then if you just bet red or black.

Dice:
The game with the best odds for the player is craps. In the game of craps the shooter will roll the dice. Whatever the first roll is sets the point for that shooter. People will not bet on if the shooter will roll the point again or not. Once the shooter rolls the point his turn is over and a new game begins.

Sic Bo:
Sic Bo is a dice game and is the simplest of all the different casino games. The game is played with 3 dice. The players, place bets on the table as to what numbers will appear on the dice. You can bet on any one number or combos of 2 dice or even all 3. Obviously betting on what all 3 of the dice will be pays out more then if you bet on just 1 die.

One Arm Bandits:
The One Arm Bandit is an old nickname for a slot machine. The older machines had a handle on the side that a player would pull to start the 3 wheels spinning. The wheels would spin and after a few seconds would stop and whatever showed on the winning line determined if you won or not. Now the machines have computers on them and instead of it being completely random the winner is determined before the wheels ever start to spin. A computer chip inside the machine runs thru all the possible outcomes and the moment you hot the button whatever outcome was in the chip is what shows on the machine.

Lottery:
Everyone has played the lottery. You get a card pick your 6 numbers and wait for the weekly drawing on TV or read about it in the paper the next day. In the casinos they call this Keno and a new game begins every 15 minutes every day. The results can be checked on the board in the casinos keno area, the computer in the keno area up to 12 hours after the end of the game of on your rooms TV as the game is being played.

These descriptions are just to give you a little bit about the different games you can expect to find in casinos all over the world. If one of them interests you, now is the best time to learn and perfect your skills before risking your money.
