Chopta Uttarakhand an Unexplored Beauty

Tungnath, which is the highest peak in the Panch Kedars is a 3.5 km trek from Chopta, and at an additional 1.5 km distance away is Chandrashila. Chandrashila is one of the most popular trek in Garhwal Himalaya. It is situated at a at 4,000mts above sea level.
Tungnath, 1000 years old Temple of Lord Shiva is just 3 Kms from Chopta at peak. Lord Shiva devotees come here to 'Pach Kedar daarshan'.
