I don't know about you but I'm bored to my back teeth with politicians who make partisan meat out of our current global economic famine. I want to shout at them, "Grow up! Stop pointing blame fingers, get on with learning lessons and creating ways to sustain us in and through the tough times."
We could all mewl and puke, "It's his fault, Miss." "She did it, Sir." Oh... and, of course, the fact that I took advantage of plentiful credit has nothing to do with me. It's those nasty financiers and bankers wot made me do it, guvnor!
AND... I'm also aware that some naive people did get duped and many of us, naive or not, are feeling and will feel the backlash of this worldwide economic downturn. I also know something of clearing up messes whether of my own or others making.
My ex husband ran a business which failed spectacularly... and it was me who came up with money making ideas, fed a family of 4 on a shoe-string budget and spear-headed the move to downsize everything including the roof over our heads. Just like Billy Ocean's UK #1 hit February 1986...
***"When the going gets tough the tough get going!"***
You have that in you too. You have your own determination to overcome adversity even if you've not known it or tapped into it before. Here's how you can...
#1 Having tough times or fear them coming? Take heart and be courageous. Feel the fear and be fierce at the same time by roaring like a lion and beating your chest like Tarzan or a huge gorilla. Repeat often to keep re-connecting with feeling tough enough to face whatever's happening.
#2 Hold your particular picture of wellbeing and abundance with pizazz!. Yeah... you can write about it, draw it, cut pictures from magazines which symbolise it, visualise and enjoy it emotionally in your mind's eye every day.
And... even more... hold your vision with passionate righteous rage knowing that living in wellbeing and abundance is absolutely your birthright.
#3 Ask yourself, "What can I do towards achieving that vision today - even this minute?!" Write your answer down so you can't fool yourself into forgetting it.
Nothing and I mean absolutely nothing is too small. At the same time make sure it's big enough to make you salivate with the desire to GO DO IT.
#4 Then TAKE POSITIVE ACTION and do that thing!
When you commit to your vision through action, even in the most difficult situations, unexpected opportunities and people arrive in your life helping you move forward. This has nothing to do with 'The Secret' and everything to do with proactively creating your own 'luck'!
#5 And, as you do move forward through and out of your tough times, as you will, put heavy coins in charity boxes, blow kisses at curmudgeonly people, dance tangos, yell war cries and ragefully smell the passion, your passion, for being oh so alive.
Congratulations on successfully navigating tough times!
